The modern technology of a tradicional floorboard

The three layers of solid wood provide Naturtec floorboards a great dimensional stability. The layers of the upper and lower surface are of the same kind of wood and thickness, giving greater stability and balance, as they cancel the forces responsible for deformation and warping. The intermediate layer with the transverse placement of the fibers in relation to the other layers, produces large resistance, reducing the retraction almost to null. The easily mounting system of the plates (with a “male-female” type) ensures an easy and versatile mounting with clean joints.

Composition and advantages

The Naturtec floorboards are constructed with three layers
of wood and the wear surface is made with wood from the center of a tree, what gives the best hardness and appearance.

The placement of solid wood board in the middle, with the cross shaft to the upper and lower boards, lead to a stabilization and reduces the natural trend of the wood to expand and shrink.
The bottom layer (blocking layer) is made with the same wood as the wear surface and this particularity blocks the tension from the surface layer.

Less receptive for shrinking and expanding, minimal gaps between the planks provide an easier cleaning. No warping or bending means less pressure and more weight distribution.

This uniform weight distribution gives less aggressive contact surfaces, reducing possible marks and increasing the longevity
of the floorboard.
